As far as I can remember, Undo and Redo functionality has been broken for LMMS. Will this be fixed any time soon? Because it seems rather strange when you have undo and redo buttons placed there that do not work.

I agree. I think this is one feature that FL studio doesn't really have either. So that would definitely give LMMS an edge.

I understand that undo/redo functionality is difficult to impliment. As a semi-experienced programmer, I'll give my two cents. My first idea was to save backup files. But it takes too long for LMMS to export projects, and this would cause considerable lag. But what about saving little patches? These files (which would be temporary) would store only the changes recently made. E.g., "knob124 volume from 57 to 68."

We have the capability to implement undo/redo and it will happen, I promise. Not sure if pgib is working on this right now with the new song editor & friends, it'll be here soon.
