Lost of these have been posted already, but it's worth having a list
in one thread. Please follow up with more suggestions!

"Pump Up The Volume"
Mostly about the Chicago house and Detroit techno scene, with a bit of
early UK stuff thrown in for good measure. I really liked this one.
All parts available on Google video:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8423846574699987716#

"High Tech Soul"
All about the Detroit techno scene. Not actually a very good doc in my
opinion but has some good interviews.
http://www.plexifilm.com/title.php?id=27

"Krautrock: The rebirth of Germany"
Really really good documentary by the BBC.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B89-69icyc

"Darkbeat"
Mostly about the newer electro scene, includes interviews from The
Advent, Ectomorph, Egyptian Lover, Scape One, Transparent Sound,
Radioactive Man, Si Begg etc. Not amazing but worth a look if you're
interested in that sound.
http://darkbeatmovie.com/

"Maestro"
ESSENTIAL VIEWING! Mostly concentrating on Larry Levan and the early
years of underground DJ/dance music in New York.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWpAYtmsqqM
http://www.maestro-documentary.com/

"Synth Britannia"
Yes most of us have seen this already and I've posted it more than
once but I'm going to keep linking to it until everybody in the world
has seen it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WeVRYPjcVXg

"Alchemists Of Sound:"
As above, you've all seen this one, or at least you should have. But
it's worth linking to again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKPGzX5kZd0

"What The Future Sounded Like"
Same as Synth Britannia. Amazing documentary. We've probably all seen
it already but it's worth linking to again.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtktHPCoYgw

"24 Hour Party People"
Not a documentary but a film based on real facts. Worth watching as it
got most of the facts right. All about Factory Records and the
Manchester scene. Cameo appearances from 808 State, Tony Wilson, Mark
E. Smith and some others if you keep your eyes open!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0274309/

"Joy Division"
Guess what this documentary is about!
(PS, this one is *amazing*, if anybody doesn't enjoy this one I'll
personally buy you five pints next time you're in Berlin)
http://vimeo.com/3789474

"Factory: Manchester from Joy Division to Happy Mondays"
Guess what this documentary is about too!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1111792/

"Speaking In Code"
I haven't actually seen this and have heard both good and bad things
about it. Mostly about the current German techno scene. Interviews
from people like Monolake, Ellen Allien, SCSI-9, Michael Mayer etc.
(no complaining if you don't like it!)
http://www.speakingincode.com/

"We Call It Techno!"
Haven't seen this one either. Concentrates on the German techno scene
once again.
http://www.myspace.com/technohistory

"Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution"
No comment needed!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1289806/

Fantastic list,

Add the Bob Moog Movie,
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0378378/

and the Moogfest dvds are good (although not documentaries, the players
talk about the minimoog and how it influenced their style of playing)

and of course

Theremin: The electronic odyssey.  http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108323/

Great list.
Add to it "Totally Wired"
http://totallywired.tumblr.com/
