System.NotSupportException when using LoadSymbols

Why is it when I use the following, I will get
System.NotSupportException?

AssemblyDefinition assemblyDefinition = AssemblyFactory.GetAssembly
(path);
assemblyDefinition.MainModule.LoadSymbols(); //this is the problem!

I need to use this cos I want to get my actual varible names instead
of names like V_0, V_1 etc.

I tried adding Mono.Cecil.Mdb.dll under References and even added
"using Mono.Cecil.Mdb;" in my program.
What's wrong?
