ROLE SUMMARY

We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst on behalf of our client, a leader in the pharmaceuticals industry. He/She will be responsible for, design and implement new systems supporting Enterprise Content Management (ECM), with particular emphasis on Document Management and Workflow/Business Process Management (BPM).  Work with business partners and GIS organization (Business Alliances, Infrastructure, Architecture) to identify process improvements and user requirements, and translate those into effective designs, specifications, and solutions.  He/she would also support existing systems to ensure business continuity, including addressing customer issues and requests.  This is a fulltime opportunity.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

--Work with IT and business users in supporting project implementation as technical resource.
--Work in partnership with IT and business solution group to develop functional and technical specifications for both existing and proposed ECM systems.
--Evaluate current business processes technical requirements and assist in review and evaluation of ECM technologies to achieve innovative computerized solutions to increase productivity and enhance user experience.
--Focus on cost-efficient and value added systems implementations
--Continuously cultivates knowledge of emerging technologies
--Excels at analyzing functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions
--Recommends solutions that are aligned with business and IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards


QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate MUST have the following experience to be considered for this opportunity:

Preferred Education and Experience Levels
B.S and 5 years relevant work experience.
 
--Experience working in IT in regulated environments
--Must have excellent technical troubleshooting skills
--Good system analysis, design skills and familiar with SDLC methodology, particularly IQ, OQ, PQ
--Experience in ECM technologies such as Trackwise, QUMAS DocCompliance and Documentum (Content Server, eRoom)
--Experience in portal technology development and standards (JSR168, WSRP)
--Object-Oriented design skills: Java, JDK 1.4.x J2EE (JSP's, Servlet's, Tag Libraries) XML, XML Schema.
