T3 transferring pdf files

This may be old hat for most of you, but I'm new to T3 ownership.

I installed the Palm reader on my T3.  I'd like to be able to transfer pdf files from my desktop to my pda, but the quick install won't let me.  I get the error that says:

ERROR: The following file(s) could not be installed to the SecureDigital (SD) Card because there is no application on your handheld to open these files.
If you have recently installed such an application, please run that application and then perform a HotSync operation.

I've run the reader more than once, and tried sync more than once.  No success.

What to do?

thanks,

Sean

Hi Sean,

You got that error message because there is no software in your T3 that can read a pdf file (Palm Reader only can read a pdb file). To read a pdf file on your T3, you should install a pdf reader such as PalmPDF (i recommend this because it's free and small enough), Adobe Reader, or Documents To Go.

Hope it helps,

Ari

Ari,

I'll try the Palm reader.   I loaded the Adobe reader, and for some reason the T3 doesn't recognize that the program is there.  I did bring the reader up several times, but still didn't work.

thanks,

Sean
