T3X snaphots availableHi,
for TYPO3 extensions developed on forge.typo3.org development snaphots are available as T3X packages now. The packages are created for each project's trunk and branches. The packages will be created once a week during the weekend. The packages are available on http://sourceforge.net/projects/typo3xdev/files/T3X/ Cheers, Andreas _______________________________________________ TYPO3-dev mailing list TYPO3-dev@... http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-dev |

Re: T3X snaphots availableHi Andreas,
that's a great service, many thanks! But please remove the private projects, they shouldn't be public downloadable. vg Steffen _______________________________________________ TYPO3-dev mailing list TYPO3-dev@... http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-dev |

I am just doing anonymous SVN checkouts. IMHO private projects, projects which are not shared with the community, should not use any community funded infrastructure. How may I link to the latest package? E.g.: http://sourceforge.net/projects/typo3xdev/files/T3X/mvc_extjs-trunk-2009-08-23_typo3xdev.t3x/download It would be nice to have something like "trunk-latest": http://sourceforge.net/projects/typo3xdev/files/T3X/mvc_extjs-trunk-latest_typo3xdev.t3x/download -- Xavier Perseguers MVC ExtJS Leader http://forge.typo3.org/projects/show/extension-mvc_extjs _______________________________________________ TYPO3-dev mailing list TYPO3-dev@... http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-dev |

If the private projects are not protected in the SVN repository the information in Forge is useless because anybody can checkout these projects from SVN no matter how the projects are treated in Forge. Maybe this is a bug in Forge. Cheers, Andreas _______________________________________________ TYPO3-dev mailing list TYPO3-dev@... http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-dev |

Re: Antw: Re: T3X snaphots availableHi Andreas,
If "old" t3x are made available to download for ever, then only making a t3x when changed occurred since last packaging makes sense. If not then dropping the date makes sense because the date of packaging may always be easily retrieved. I thought old t3x were there for ever and as such thought about some meta-package that always point to the latest version, which is what I guess makes much sense. Also thanks for this service. I had such a service up and running back some years ago, when extension development was still done on sourceforge / typo3xdev. But at some time I had to close it down, cause sourceforge blocked my IP for the CVS services ;) Hope this wont happen for forge. How do you create the T3X files out of the svn checkout? I created php script called "extension-packager" at those times which did the job. This feature should probably get announced at some more prominent place, than just in this mailinglist!!! greets, Bernhard _______________________________________________ TYPO3-dev mailing list TYPO3-dev@... http://lists.netfielders.de/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/typo3-dev |
