TM 09 Database hangs up when doing backup

I am having an issue when I close TM09 and it asks me to do a backup.  I say okay and then it just sits there, it does not process the backup and it locks up the computer in such a way that I have to a full reboot.  I can't get it to shut down using Task Master or telling it to end.  Is anyone else having this issue.  Thanks.

Hi,
  I will get a database error during the backup if I have my desktop
index application running (Copernic).  I pause the index updating before
running a TM backup and all is well.
Could this be a possibility for you?
