TM keeps "losing" data

I am running TM on a Mac via Parellels w/Windows XP SP3 installed on that drive.

Every now and then, when I launch TM, I get a message saying that my password is incorrect.    I've called TM and they will have me reset my preferences and everything is okay, but I have to recreate personalized settings such as leadership positions and calendar setups.

Or, I can restore the datbase from the .bak file.

I am using Kapersky AV and have turned off (I think) everything related to TM so it won't see it, but tech support thinks my AV still might be corrupting files.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I'm  sorry that I don't have a direct answer to your issue, but
I will say that I use TM2009 on my macbookpro, through Parallels,
version 4.0 (build 4.0.3844 May 5, 2009).

I've never had a single issue running Troopmaster with parallels.

I also agree with TSI, that it's probably your A/V product.
They can be the pickiest thing and "whack" a file it thinks
is malware.   You might enable and/or check your A/V log files
to see if there are any entries that mark a Troopmaster related
file as having been isolated.   This would prove that's the
culprit.

Disclaimer:  I do not work for, nor profit from ESET, but I
highly recommend to you (or any Windoze) user to use NOD32.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 is the most effective protection you
can find to combat today's huge volumes of Internet and email
threats. It provides comprehensive antivirus and antispyware
protection without affecting your computer's performance.

Good luck.
