Products are not translated

Hi all,

I am running commerce version 0.12.0 (from svn, about 1 month since
checkout) and although the i18n is working for static (i.e. XML based
texts), it is not for translated articles, products and attribures.

We have a one-tree multilaguage site with 4 languages. when a user
changes the language, all labels change correctly but not the texts of
the products. They are translated for sure. Anyone having the same problem?

problem with showing details of products / articles

Dear list,

hello to you all.

My installation of works fine besides one problem. Symptoms are:

1. When I click on a product in my product list to show the detail page,
the product list only reloads (and omits the details page). This happens
when I don't define a product name in the corresponding plug-in page
(page "details" (for detail view), extension options "product
information" (german: Produktdaten) --> product name (for single view)

2. When I define some product name in this List, I get this defined
product when I click on the product name in my product shop list. So, I
understand the behaviour of the second one (which is OK, I think), but
what's with the first one? I would expect a normal detail view when I
click on some product name in my product list but the expected action
happens.

I use the commerce extension from TER (0.9.9), Typo3 4.2.6 (and I know
that I have to update it) and the corresponding dependencies, also from
TER.

Does anyone has a suggestion for me?

Hello Morton,

i want to use your extension with paymentlib and paymentlib_ipayment.
but i don't get it working.

after the installation of the ipayment provider i get an error:

Fatal error: Declaration of tx_paymentlibipayment_provider::transaction_getResults() must be compatible with that of tx_paymentlib_provider::transaction_getResults() in /srv/www/euroticketonline/htdocs/typo3conf/ext/paymentlib_ipayment/class.tx_paymentlibipayment_provider.php on

i tried to fix that compatability, but when i install your extension afterwords nothing happens.
so i think i need an older version of paymentlib first, which is "native" compatible to the ipayment provider.

so which version of the paymentlib extension do you with your installations use at the moment?
i use 0.3.2 and tested it with the quickpay provider.
it seems only to suppurt paymentlib up to 0.3.0.

when i use the paymentlib version 0.3.0 trunk from svn http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/typo3xdev/tx_paymentlib/
i get the same error after installing ipayment.

do you have any idea where i can get even older versions of the paymentlib extension f.i 0.2.0?

or even better could you try to install the paymentlib_ipayment provider on one of your (test)systems
and tell me if you get an error afterwords and which versions do you use?

very frustrating again when there seem to be extensions and thene they don't work at all.
perhaps using the time for writing our own extension instead of searching and testing would be the better choice...

when i get all of installed, how would i see that it works.
do i get another creditcard-form in the commerce checkout automatically, or do i have to switch to it somehow.

i put the ts-configuration of your extension in an external ts-file in included by the maintemplate.

I just found this little extension in TER, and where wondering that no
one never used this. Is it working?

If I understood corectly, it's a bridge to use all pymentlib_*
extensions in commerce.

Unfortunatly there is no manual, but the README says something that lets
me hope that I can use this extension in production.

Anybody got some more infos about this?

Hi Sebastian,

I am the author of that extension - we use it in production on all our
shops, I of at least two other companies that use it for production
shops, it should work with any paymentlib_* provider - but I've only
tested it with paymentlib_quickpay and paymentlib_offlinepayment my self.

The manual is currently the forge wiki

While the extension makes no mention of it it works with all version of
commerce ( including the latest SVN ).

If you decided to make use of it I'd appreciate your feed back, aswell
as report of what paymentlib_ provider you used.

Markers on Invoice-Template not filled

Hi all,

when printing an invoice, the billing and delivery markers are not getting
filled. It's the same issue as described in
http://bugs.typo3.org/print_bug_page.php?bug_id=7170

Any hints on getting around this?
(commerce v. 0.9.9)
Or has this been addressed in current svn versions?

Hi Ralf,

Yeah that is too bad. But that is why it is called 'Lite' I guess. You
can also get a 'Professional' edition that offers more.

I copied a small part of the finishing function that adds the order to
db and sends the mails. This is now done before when a customers
continues to payment, after the listing. It also has a small piece of
code that disables the db write and mails in the finishing page. When a
user chooses prepayment it all functions as normally.

I hope that is clear. Let me know if it's not!

I created an extension that can give discounts in general. I think that
it would be suitable for this situation as well but it would require
some changes or additions. I.e. it is now more category based.

Hmmm... it´s a pity that the payment provider is not flexible in this
ways. You will always have customers who do not go back to your page,
because they think the order is done.

So, maybe you could explain what your hack does? Just for others to
find this solution easier, when they search in this list.

Do you save the order before step finish now?

Article of the day, special price for one day

Hi list,

I´m going to implement an new plugin, that can show a "Article of the day".
My idea is as follows:
I will extend the articles with a new date field. The editor then can
edit his articles and enter the date of the day when this article ist a
"Article of the day". To offer this article with a special price, the
editor also has to enter a new price for that article and set the start
and stop date for that price.

The plugin then simply fetches the first article which das the new date
field as today and shows it in the frontend.

My question now simply is: Does anybody have this implemented yet? So I
don´t have to code this again. A donation then is possible. ;)
If not, I´ll implement this by myself, of course.

payment was successful on the payment page, the iDEAL Server calls a
URL, so called hiddentrigger-URL, in the backround, so you can finish
the order by your script. But have to be careful: If the hiddentrigger
finishes the order AND the customer clicks the button to come back,
you´ll have 2 orders.

Another idea:
can you change the iDEAL templates? Then I would just put a javascript
there with a window.onload function which automatically redirects to
your finish step.

Hi Robert,

I don´t know if this new attribute type will be implemented in the future.
There are several people who use commerce since now. Maybe someone has
implemented this yet.

As an idea, you could add your markers by hook and then overwrite the
"standard" shall attribute value.

If you think this is a "must have" feature you can post this on
forge.typo3.org as feature whish and hope that it will be implemented.
Whereby "hope" is not meant as that the commerce developers are lazy,
but I know time is short, so noone would do this for free. ;)

Maybe someone will post here if he has a customer who also need´s this
feature. Anyone?

Create an article using code?

Hi,

is there a (good) possibility to add a new article using a php script I
hooked into the basket generation?
(I added a textarea to the basket where the shop user can leave a message.
It would be great if that message could be converted to an article and
added to the basket on refresh, so it will appear on the invoice a.s.o)

At the moment I use the
$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['EXTCONF']['commerce/pi2/class.tx_commerce_pi2.php']['postartAddUid'][]
hook and call

$creator = t3lib_div::makeInstance('tx_commerce_articleCreator');
$creator->init(0,0);

$PA['title'] = "Hello World";

$creator->createArticle($PA, $key);

. This creates an article, but it is "empty" (just the title, no
description, no categories,...).

Any ideas how I can add further data, and how I can put the new article
into a category?

Hi, list,

I posted this question already in the directmail list, but since it is
also a bit of a commerce-realted subject, I'd like to ask here, too.
Maybe some of you encountered that problem already.

I use sr_feuser_registration to register for an account with an online
store. So there are to separat groups for customers (non-confirmed,
confirmed).

But the form also has a possibility to check whether a newsletter is
welcome or not. For newsletter subscribers there are separat User groups
(since the website offers a newsletter subscription ONLY service).

How can I get sr_feuser_registration to save a client, who signs up for
the store AND is interested in the newsletter, in both groups, the one
for the store (which happenes automatically), AND the one for the
newsletter subscribers, given the newsletter subscription is checked?

Hi Robert,

I haven't read about it anywhere but I'm sure that with the use of
(perhaps) some hooks and an extra extension you can make it work.

You can create a script that serves the files for download. Files are
only served when there is an order id, that matches with the document.
Or something like that. Just be a little creative.

using the marker ###PAYMENT_DESCRIPTION###.

I wonder though, if it is possible to show the "unformatted text"

on to pay, wich is why commerce doesn't create orders until payment is

Hi Morten,

almost! ;)

So in case anybody needs this information some time: The problem was
that I've been truncating the article_prices table and with that
deleting the prices for my payment methods. Never do that! ;)

Hi "dk",

With the limited information you provide I would have to guess to the cause.

My guess is that in the time between it worked and it didn't that you
have added stock to you shop, but forgot to add stock to the payment
articles ( this also needs to be done for delivery articles )

Hi Rik,

you could try my extension "ods_commerce_showattributes". It adds
"###ARTICLE_SELECT_ATTRIBUTES###" to cart and mail template.
