I have inserted the following into the user tsconfig, but that does not
help. The user still cannot create elements in the right column. If he tries
to create the element in the right column, typo3 saves it in the normal
column.

User tsconfig:
mod.SHARED.colPos_list= 0,2
mod.web_layout.tt_content.colPos_list=0,2

In the new static template for CSS Styled Content, the space
before/after handling was moved to using div tags with margins. The
generation happens in:

tt_content.stdWrap.innerWrap.default

Can you check what you've got there? Do you maybe have any TS overriding
this?

after update to 4.3.0, no before/after space

Hi,

I lost all the content element spacing in before/after fields after
updating to 4.3.0. I mean the values are there in BE but the extra space
isn't in FE.

Now, If I choose the "CSS Styled Content TYPO3 v4.2" in
template/includes I get the space back.

Maybe a bug in new CSS Styled Content (and should I report it?) or
something missing in my configuration?

Check the group/user settings if the user is allowed to WRITE to
tt_content.colPos:
As you mentioned user can change content of an existing element on right
column. Did you check if he could move it to normal column?
If not check enable write access to that column.

CoolURI question

Yesterday I implemented CoolURI. The process went smoothly and I couldn't be happier with the results.

I've gone over all of the online documentation I could find, did my google searching (probably don't know the right terms to search), etc. and am stuck on one final item.

I have a page that is a CGI (not a T3 page) that gets called. With the supplied CoolURI XML config (with some mm_forum additions as well as a few other minor ones) results in a "Page Not found" error.

How do I tell CoolURI to allow this page:

http://www.foo.com/calendar/index.cgi

to pass through and be allowed to load w/o any CoolURI rewriting?

I hope that question makes sense.

Versioning workflow on frontend

Hi list,

my frontend users are very lazy and want to use the frontend always for
their editing tasks. Is there a way they can access versioning module on
frontend? Something like to be allowed to change the workspace they're
working in, to send to review or publish certain content, etc.

I will only speak for myself and say that, yes, cachecleaner still makes
perfect sense with TYPO3 4.3, although it may have problems working the
new cache framework (but I'm not very up to date on that part yet).

Your *-key seems to have a defect..

Please read the description of the extensions, what exactly they do.
I can tell for sure that stg_clearcache has still its right to exist,
gp_branchcache seems to do similar things - namely clear the cache of a
branch and not only of a single page or the whole server.

As cachecleaner is a very new extension by a core developer, I doubt that
it has now unnecessary functions.

I managed to solve this issue by accident.

The groups did not show up because the sysfolder of the FE groups was
not readable by the BE group of my editors.

I just needed to give "show page" to "everybody", and my problem was
solved.

TSRef updated for TYPO3 4.3

Hi all,

I just released an updated version of the TSRef to the TER, with all the
new stuff from TYPO3 4.3 (just wait a bit for the rendering to take
place). The other core docs will follow gradually.

To get an idea of what has changed, I assembled all changes on a
dedicated page in the wiki [1] (which is derived from the Pending
Documentation page, but with slightly improved layout for better
readability).

On top of the new stuff, a number of bugs in the TSRef were fixed. You
can refer to the ChangeLog in doc_core_tsref to see the details.

Happy TypoScripting and enjoy TYPO3 4.3!

TemplaVoilà Cache problems

Hello everybody,

I'm using TemplaVoilà and I'm get a big problem. The file reference of the
main page of my site is a PHP file, which I use to map the elements and
create the FCE's. I was able to make changes normally for weeks, but now
every change I do on this PHP file doesn't shows on the Typo3 page. If I add
or remove a FCE, this change is visible, but not the changes made on the PHP
file. I don't know if I made something wrong on the PHP file, but the big
problem is that every change I do on it doesn't works. I renamed the file,
forcing the file reference to point nowhere, and the page is still there (on
backend shows a ERROR message, saying that the file was not found, but on
frontend the page is still generated). I've already cleaned the Browser
cache (even tried on another one), the Typo3 cache, the eAccelerator cache,
manually deleted the cache files, restarted the Apache... I don't know what

With rgmediaimages you can put the video in a text w/images content
element - så you get only one element. You can also embed videos with
link to YouTube, Vimeo etc.

Datafolder for direct_mail_subscription

Hi,

I have just installed direct_mail_subscription and its working nice so
far, but one little problem:
The subscriped users get stored in the the home-directory instead in the
"Subscriber"-Sysfolder I've created for them.

I thought I need to set "Subscriber"-folder as starting-point, but this
doesn't seem to works.

Yes, the user is allowed to select new elements in the right column, but
when saving it, it is saved in the normal column. However, if the element is
already created in the right column, the user could change the element and
save it, and then the element is saved in the correct column (right column).
