Task Bar real-estate

Dear Developers,

Thank you very much for making this software available. However, I
have one suggestion to make for the Windows version of the gimp program.

When the Gimp program runs, it opens at least 3 windows on start-up.
This is REALLY taking a lot of task-bar real-estate! This bugs me very
much, especially when most program are using tabs to eliminate this
problem.

Could you consider putting all windows into one window - or even move
them into the icon tray on the right? Like, say ... how Photoshop did
it in Windows?
