Tcl/Tk in SnowLeopard

Hi all,

the Apple Darwin team has posted sources for the open-source
components of Mac OS X 10.6 SnowLeopard:

The sources used to build Tcl/Tk are at

In brief, the Tcl/Tk releases provided are:
 - Tcl 8.5.7, as of 2009-04-15, 32&64bit
 - Tk  8.5.7, as of 2009-04-15, 32&64bit, TkAqua Cocoa

 - Tcl 8.4.19 + CVS changes as of 2009-04-15, 32&64bit
 - Tk  8.4.19 + CVS changes as of 2009-04-15, 32bit only, TkAqua Carbon

Tcl/Tk 8.5 is default, 8.4 is only provided for backwards
compatibility with Leopard/Tiger.

Extensions provided for Tcl/Tk 8.5 & 8.4 and 32&64bit:

On a personal note, due to a change in personal situation
(international relocation & new employer), I am taking a break from
Tcl/Tk maintainer duties and email, I do not anticipate being able to
get back to Tcl/Tk until end of November at the earliest. I apologize
in advance for ignoring Tcl/Tk email and bug reports until then...
