Tellico - problem with previewDear Robby,
I'm Enrico from Italy and I like very much your program Tellico. Now I'm inserting all my collection of comics. Before, I'm sorry for my bad engish. I hope not to disturb you but I want to write you for a bug, I believe. I create a new element and when I go toh choose the cover in the pop I have the check box Automatic preview but I can see nothing. I attached a screenshot to understand better. After all the rest is good! Can you help me? Is it a my mistake? I work with Tellico 1.3 on Ubuntu desktop 8.04 LTS I write again, your Tellico is very nice!!! Thanks in advance. Re: Tellico - problem with previewBased on the screenshot, the issue seems to be with the KDE file opener
dialog rather than Tellico itself, I don't know what compile options they have, but it might have something to do with the fact they had already dumped most of KDE3 in favour of KDE4... Re: Tellico - problem with previewI've only heard of this problem on Ubuntu, and like Regis said, I think it's
an issue with the File Dialog from KDE. I would expect every other KDE program to have the same issue. Re: Tellico - problem with previewHello,
yes I confirm that Tellico is running on Ubuntu desktop 8.04 LTS with Gnome. Thanks. Best, Enrico 2009/3/17 D. > *Only thing is, Robby, I'm not running KDE but Gnome (athough I guess > maybe there IS a KDE layer somewhere...) > It really doesn't matter which environment you're running. Tellico is a KDE application and uses the KDE widgets for everything, including buttons, toolbars, and file selector boxes. So in your case, the KDE file selector is to blame. Whether it's a runtime or compile option or a bug, that's yet another issue...
