Terminal colors in output?

Remember when the colors were added to the note output text?  I think clipping
even went red or something like that.  Well, I've been away again for a while,
but tonight I'm trying to clean out the cobwebs that have been
blocking my internal composer.

I am using scripts that manage the csound process, and I notice that when there
is an error, I have to squint (at my 2048x1536 monitors) and wade through all of
the stuff that csound emits before it gets to the crux; maybe there is a pfield
mismatch or something.

It seems like it would be such a blessing if the stuff that is really an error
could be highlighted on the terminal in a possibly configurable color, the way
many (linux anyway) terminal programs are tending to drift.

Thanks,

Tobiah

Not looked at thje code yet but it would be "easy" to chnage the default
error printing to add colours on an option.
