Terminal.app eats all CPU?

Hi. I was reminded of another terminal.app 0.9.4+cvs20051125-5 issue.
When I use mplayer, the software keep refresh the status line on the
console of current framerate etc, that sucks half of my CPU power (CPU:
loongson 2F). The workaround is to minimize terminal when mplayer
started. The same thing doesn't happen on other console emulator e.g. urxvt
