The Pitch/Tempo Relationship When Using AudioFile Processor

Hello,

I'm trying to use a single note sample I imported through AudioFile Processor to compose a melodic idea BUT the tempo the note is played at changes according to the pitch it's set at, which is throwing off my general tempo. I saved the sample as an .xpf file. I noticed that the samples generated through the other plug-ins don't do this and they are also .xpf files so is there some way I can circumvent this? Is there something I should be doing?

Regards

If someone doesnt get a response on the forums they are more then welcome to post on the mailing list. Either that or they didnt find the post that someone else posted that might lead to a resolution of their problem.
