Dont the sm blk n2o cars get to weight like 2800 lbs in those east world races.  and the turbo/blowers are 3350 and the big blks are 3400.  Have not looked at the rules thats just something i heard once.  I know that nmra SSO the sm blk n2o cars are 2650 to get the to run with the forced induction guys.

Oh well it is what it is right we have to live with it or race somewhere else.  It just going to be a long three years.

*No intercooler can deduct 200#   Gasoline only   Mod motor ded. 100#
All others have 10#/ci penalty over base wt.

SB 480 ci max nitrous 2650# BB 525 ci max nitrous 3050# BB 650 ci n/a 2750#
91mm turbo 365ci 2900# or 440 ci 3000#
94mm turbo 365ci 3000# or 440 ci 3100#
Supercharged 440 ci 3150#
Mod. motors deduct 200#    8#/ci penalty over base wt.

Each class has about 8 pages of rules; I would hate to police all of this.
The Mustang is the only car that will go down to 2800#; Most of our nitrous
sb cars can only get to 3100#.
Most organizations in drag radial are fairly close to the above rules
There may have been some changes for 2009 I am not aware of, but when it
gets right down to it, our rules are not that bad.
