There must be something wrong somewhere, because the original package
*does* have the file mentioned:
http://packages.debian.org/sid/powerpc/pbbuttonsd/filelistFor this reason, I'm lowering the severity and tagging it moreinfo.
Please, could you give us more details regarding since when you started
seeing this?
Also, did you happen to have any power-related package installed?
Can you reinstall the package? Does this fix the problem? If not, can
you purge pbbuttons and reinstall it? Does this fix the problem? This
would, of course, give some hint that other program may have messed up
with pbbuttonsd's configurations (perhaps even a logging/rotating
system).
I'm CC'ing the -powerpc list so that other people can comment on their
experience here.
