The red headed cep stamp

I have a question about the red headed cep (shouldn't that be 'red-headed',
BTW)? Is there such a thing; i.e., is this the correct name?

I couldn’t find any translation of this, and a Google search for 'red headed
cep' or 'red-headed cep' only turns up Tux Paint Web pages.

I guess more accurately it'd be "Red-capped" (since the 'head' of the
mushroom is called the 'cap').

I don't know much about mushrooms (nor do I like to eat them ;) ), but here's

Looking at this page, in "Related forms", there is a link to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boletus_pinophilus
it seems to be this one, known as the pine bolete or pinewood king bolete
many years considered a variety of cep.




OT mushroms are much more delicious after a day in the mountain
searching for them :)
