The same rdesktop problem over and over again.Hello thinstation-general,
I saw replying in one of the previous messages: >"rdesktop hasn't changed from 2.2 through 2.3." But it should! SYMPTOMS: Navigation keys don't work in rdesktop, NumPad works in navigation mode only, "rdesktop complains about not being able to find keyboard en_us", "rdesktop is broken in ver.2.3", etc ... CAUSE: Ordinary user "ts" (not superuser "root") starts rdesktop application. DISTRO: Thinstation-2.3 SOLTION: If you make your build on your own workstation apply the next command as superuser : find /PATH_TO/Thinstation-2.3/packages/keymaps-* -perm 0600 -print|sort|xargs chmod 644 -- Best regards, Vladimir ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Re: The same rdesktop problem over and over again.I was having similar issues with my rdp sessions. Don't know if this will help but you can give it a try, it solved my problem. Create your TS-o-Matic build via the Denmark site, use version 2.2.1rc1 and build it using the text version, not the gui version. For some reason both the Slovenia and Netherlands sites have/had issues with the en-us keyboard. Hope this helps.

Re: The same rdesktop problem over and over again.Vladimir is pointing out that even where we have fixed the problem,
the new 'non-root' changes for 2.3 have broken the fix..... Both TSoM's were updated with a patch to fix the keyboard issue.
