The upcoming release of the language packs for SquirrelMail 1.4.18Dear translators.
The SquirrelMail Project is about to release SquirrelMail 1.4.18 (exact date is not set yet), so if you want to update your translations please do that as soon as possible and send the updates to this list. I've included some statistics for "squirrelmail.po" below as a complement to <http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org/>. Languages not on this list will not be included unless they reach the level of more than 50 % strings translated (for "squirrelmail.po"). The latest versions of the translations can be fetched at <http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org/>. Sincerely, Fredrik Arabic (ar) 68.67 Bulgarian (bg_BG) 70.84 Bangladeshi Bengali (bn_BD) 99.74 Indian Bengali (bn_IN) 77.89 Catalan (ca_ES) 63.01 Czech (cs_CZ) 99.83 Welsh (cy_GB) 62.84 Danish (da_DK) 68.15 German (de_DE) 93.91 Greek (el_GR) 93.21 Spanish (es_ES) 99.91 Estonian (et_EE) 73.54 Basque (eu_ES) 98.52 Persian (fa_IR) 98.61 Finnish (fi_FI) 89.73 Faroese (fo_FO) 98.43 French (fr_FR) 95.21 Frisian (fy) 98.52 Hebrew (he_IL) 57.96 Croatian (hr_HR) 68.93 Hungarian (hu_HU) 78.15 Bahasa Indonesia (id_ID) 97.21 Icelandic (is_IS) 72.15 Italian (it_IT) 100.00 Japanese (ja_JP) 83.29 Georgian (ka) 92.95 Korean (ko_KR) 70.41 Lithuanian (lt_LT) 97.74 Latvian (lv_LV) 99.74 Macedonian (mk) 58.22 Bahasa Melayu (ms_MY) 72.76 Norwegian Bokmål (nb_NO) 96.17 Dutch (nl_NL) 98.52 Norwegian Nynorsk (nn_NO) 95.65 Polish (pl_PL) 97.04 Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) 93.56 Portuguese (pt_PT) 94.78 Romanian (ro_RO) 98.87 Russian (ru_RU) 98.35 Slovak (sk_SK) 82.94 Slovenian (sl_SI) 73.72 Serbian (sr_YU) 93.12 Swedish (sv_SE) 99.22 Tamil (ta_LK) 70.67 Turkish (tr_TR) 98.17 Uighur (ug) 65.71 Ukrainian (uk_UA) 94.78 Vietnamese (vi_VN) 99.48 Chinese Simplified (zh_CN) 92.34 Chinese Traditional (zh_TW) 81.20 100.00 Italian (it_IT) 99.91 Spanish (es_ES) 99.83 Czech (cs_CZ) 99.74 Latvian (lv_LV) 99.74 Bangladeshi Bengali (bn_BD) 99.48 Vietnamese (vi_VN) 99.22 Swedish (sv_SE) 98.87 Romanian (ro_RO) 98.61 Persian (fa_IR) 98.52 Frisian (fy) 98.52 Dutch (nl_NL) 98.52 Basque (eu_ES) 98.43 Faroese (fo_FO) 98.35 Russian (ru_RU) 98.17 Turkish (tr_TR) 97.74 Lithuanian (lt_LT) 97.21 Bahasa Indonesia (id_ID) 97.04 Polish (pl_PL) 96.17 Norwegian Bokmål (nb_NO) 95.65 Norwegian Nynorsk (nn_NO) 95.21 French (fr_FR) 94.78 Ukrainian (uk_UA) 94.78 Portuguese (pt_PT) 93.91 German (de_DE) 93.56 Brazilian Portuguese (pt_BR) 93.21 Greek (el_GR) 93.12 Serbian (sr_YU) 92.95 Georgian (ka) 92.34 Chinese Simplified (zh_CN) 89.73 Finnish (fi_FI) 83.29 Japanese (ja_JP) 82.94 Slovak (sk_SK) 81.20 Chinese Traditional (zh_TW) 78.15 Hungarian (hu_HU) 77.89 Indian Bengali (bn_IN) 73.72 Slovenian (sl_SI) 73.54 Estonian (et_EE) 72.76 Bahasa Melayu (ms_MY) 72.15 Icelandic (is_IS) 70.84 Bulgarian (bg_BG) 70.67 Tamil (ta_LK) 70.41 Korean (ko_KR) 68.93 Croatian (hr_HR) 68.67 Arabic (ar) 68.15 Danish (da_DK) 65.71 Uighur (ug) 63.01 Catalan (ca_ES) 62.84 Welsh (cy_GB) 58.22 Macedonian (mk) 57.96 Hebrew (he_IL) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensign option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects ----- squirrelmail-i18n mailing list Posting guidelines: http://squirrelmail.org/postingguidelines Information about translations: http://squirrelmail.org/wiki/LanguageTranslation Statistics for translations: http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org/ List address: squirrelmail-i18n@... Paul told me that I'd be better to translate the development version of the .pot file at http://squirrelmail.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/squirrelmail/trunk/locales/po/ . Hi Tamás. I haven't committed your translation to the repository yet, since I'm waiting to hear from Zoltán. I'll send you a version (off-list) of 1.4.18 for you update and mail back (1144 translated, 8 fuzzy). I'll make sure that HEAD and 1.4.18 are in sync, so you don't have to worry about that at this stage. That's a HTML RGB code in the section "Message highlighting" (literally meaning "For example: 63aa7f"). However, I had much harder times when translating messages like "D, F j, Y g:i a" which is a time format or "A" which is a message flag and means "answered". Re: The upcoming release of the language packs for SquirrelMail 1.4.18> Some more new translated files before release.
Thank you, Andrea. I've committed them. > Just a question: this work can be merged on trunk / 1.5 branch ?? I'm keeping HEAD ("trunk/") and 1.4.18 in sync, but currently not 1.5.1. HEAD contains strings from 1.4.19 and 1.5.2. 1.5.1 is old and not available from <http://squirrelmail.org/download.php> any more. Maybe I should remove the translations for it and branch 1.5.2 instead, but with no upcoming release for 1.5.2 I'm a bit reluctant to branch. Ok, just wanted to know if the work can be used for HEAD (the stats there seems old, 15% of fuzzy in squirrelmail.po ?!?) and the 1.5.x series. Andrea

The stats are generated automatically once per day, so they aren't old. "squirrelmail.po" HEAD contains 399 strings more than 1.4.18. The script doing the statistics merges the translation it has with the updated template, so if a translated string is similar to an un-translated string the un-translated string becomes a fuzzy translated string. A translation based on HEAD is easily converted to a version specific translation, so I usually recommend starting with HEAD. HEAD currently contains the strings of 1.4.19 (right now identical to 1.4.18) and 1.5.2. Re: The upcoming release of the language packs for SquirrelMail 1.4.18Hello Fredrik,
I have updated my translations I found incomplete in 1.4.18 branch (including squirrelmail.po) at http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org/SM-1_4_18/cs_CZ/. I have also noticed, that in recent update of Proone translation there is (besides some missing translations) a wrong translator, Dan Kahoun gave up during lest half year (by beeing non responsive, see thread 'Re: [SM-I18N] Czech translations update' @ 29.7.2008), so I also attach updated translation for this plugin.
