Thermal stresses developed during moving laser heating
Dear friends
I am trying to use sequential thermal- stress analysis for the detrmination of stresses generated during moving laser heating. I have solved one part of my problem using DFLUX subroutine for the temperature distribution in the a simple plate (moving with time having guass distribution). Now, I am facing problem in coupling the this thermal analysis with static stress analysis. When I use the my thermal results (.odb) as predefined field, it seems working, but I dont get any stresses in the plate. I changed the eleemmnt type to 3D stress (C3D4)from heat transfer (DC3D4). My questions are:
What should be material properties.
BCs
How can implement zero stresses before the simulation etc.
