They should have had build points and a rule of 1 for creatures.......

Obviously to late for build points to be added to the creature cards now, but it might have been a nice idea..........it just seems that if the card stats mimic what is out there right now everyone is going to end up using the same creature cards.............i think it would have also been nice to only be able to use 1 copy of any given creature at a time.............i think it would have served to broaden the character cards being used...........just some thoughts/my opinions (for what they are worth)..............just think with all the cool card art it would have been nice to see more different cards being used by everyone rather than what will probably end up being everyone using the same cards..............and yes I know that even the same cards will have different stats, but from what it looks like cards like Chaor and Maxxor and Heptad and so on are probably going to consistantly be higher stat cards, so once the game is saturated with the higher stat creatures I think the cards with consistantly lower stats will never be seen in play.............but if there were build points and cards were limited to 1 each (instead of 2), that might be different...............I guess they could always allow the "unique" stat generator system to allow any creature to have super stats or cruddy stats.............but I doubt that will happen either...........anyways, thanks for reading my rant ;)

They do have build points, but for attacks because some attacks are just that powerful I guess. In this game stats play a big part but are not the most important, i.e with the demo

Laarina defeated Magmon. How? because Magmon may have over powered her, but coupled with the right battle gear, and mugic she came out on top. I know your fear, that the same cards will be used over and over, well if I can help it, I'll try to make a deck to crush types like those lmao when the game comes out. I agree the one creature rule sounds great, but I think about it more like this. I use Heptadd, Maxxor and intress, my opponet uses Van Bloot , Chaor and Takinom. Either way its a match up with different stats, plus with cards that increase points constantly, and locations it makes it a semi fare game automatically.

The unique stat generator will play key to keeping the game balanced I hope. ^_^ your welcome lol

I think there are 86 creature cards in this first set, so I'm sure you will be seeing lots of different battle team combonations. And until we see what range the stats will be, we can't be totally sure that creatures like Maxxor will always have high stats (the episode "A Fearsome Fate" may suggest otherwise, but having not see that yet, that is only a guess). Bryan Gannon made it clear in one of the NYCC videos that you would want to build your team using versions of the cards that have the higest stats, so it just a part of the game. For all we know all the creatures have rare high stat versions that we can collect, right now it's too soon to say. But I see your point on creature build points, but you would have to have a different point value for each of the creatures different stats and that would be a headache. I think a better option would have been to base it on the creatures energy level (something I don't think will change). Creatures with low energy would have a build point of 1 while the higher energy levels would be a 3. But like you said it's too late for that now, but it would be possible to change the rules to balance the game if need be. One way to do that would be to limit the overall number of "unique" or "ultra rare"cards in your deck.

Look one creature's different versions' stats are related to statistics. How? Well there will be an average stats, and the cards would most likely deviate only slightly from that standard. So I think the weakling versions and uber strong versions would fall into the rares or ultra rares.
