</div><br>f2 will do NOTHING in 2.4 (it doesn't use bootsplash).
<br><br>You need to change your kernel parameters to show the error messages on
<br>the screen. ie. change to console=tty0 - in pxelinux,cfg/default or
<br>syslinux.cfg.
<br><br>You need to use the new build.conf with 2.4, you can NOT use a
<br>build.conf from an old version.
<br><br>If you are ONLY using rdesktop, then 2.4 should be OK (and has fairly
<br>up-to-date drivers & XOrg 7.3), but you will need the amd driver
<br>(<a href="http://batley.com.au/thinstation/xorg7-amd_TS-2.3.tar.gz" target="_top" rel="nofollow">http://batley.com.au/thinstation/xorg7-amd_TS-2.3.tar.gz</a> - don't worry
<br>that it says 2.3).

The audio and video (only with VESA driver).<br><br>Unfortunately the module problems exists.<br>Now only these hid modules are missing. I excluded other problematic modules, like ext2, supermount, etc. When I exclude hid-usb these errors disappear, but of course usb mouse and keyboard doesn't work.<br>

<br>version 185.18.14 as is installed on the Danish TSoM.

had Thinstation workstation that the domain changed to a Windows 2008 Server.
Since then the users are presented with a local logon and not the domain logon
as before. Needless to say they have to type: <Domain\Username>. I was
hoping that by adding the directory thinstation.profile with the config thinstation.config.user
and add the –d <Domain> to the RDP option that this would fix
things, but this doesn’t seem to work. Here was what I added:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

running rdesktop. The desired result is that I will be able to reuse some
ancient hardware we have to connect to a windows terminal server. I have
successfully created said package and deployed it to several <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>HP Vectra VE C/266 Series 7 DT</span></b> machines and
they work flawlessly. However when I load the same image on an <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>HP Vectra VEi7</span></b> it appears to work just fine
up until the point you try to type anything. Each stroke of a key results
in multiple repeated keystrokes. I have tried both PS/2 and USB Keyboards
and they both suffer this symptom. I have updated to the latest BIOS
version on HP’s web site (HX.07.08). I have entered the BIOS setup
and changed the setting for <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Keyboard auto-repeat
rate</span></b> to 2/sec and the setting for <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Keyboard
auto-repeat delay </span></b>to 1 sec (the maximum limits for these settings)
and still the problem exists only on this model of PC.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
