Three years already?

The inauguration next week had me thinking about the first "OctaCon" conference.  Was that three years ago already?  If another comes around in the near future, I could probably only make Chicago.

Whoa, whoa, what? There was an Octave conference? I had no idea! When,
where, who went? I can't find information about it on Google.
