Hi there,

let me hint you to a feature of redmine that helps keeping track of things very nicely:

Redmine will auto-link ticket numbers, when they are mentioned in a commit message with the ticket page on it.

Example:
The commit messages on http://www.activequant.org/repositories/show/aqt-base link to http://www.activequant.org/issues/show/23

I kindly ask you to use these in the future when changes like the calendar bug happen, so that we get a good internal cross linking!

Thanks and keep up the good spirit !!
Ulrich

Yes, I support this. Doing it "the right way" may seem tedious, but it actually saves the effort of keeping track of things.

So, guys, please post the suggestions and fixes to the respective redmine project.

Ulrich, for this to work nicely we need:

- e-mail notifications of changes in the project "issues" section
- e-mail notifications of the SVN commits

Hi,

i think Lars is the right person to ask for the svn commits. He definitely has a very expertise on these matters!
These project issue notifications should get sent out already, will investigate a bit more.

Hoi,

I will look into this, but it won't happen before Saturday.
I suggest that we add a mailing list for the commits and only
the svn "robot" has write permissions.

cheers

Can somebody please help me out with the names of the repositories
which should send commit notifications.
There are 83(!) repositories/options available :)

Hi Lars,

Can you maybe just do all of them? A single mailing list should suffice. If its impossible to capture all, then lets do these:

svn://activequant.org/opt/repositories/gui1 (and anything below)
svn://activequant.org/opt/repositories/sandbox (and anything below)

Thank you
-Mike

Ok, i added the appropriate hook to all repositories.
As i do not have access to the mailman installation, i chose this mailing
list as notification recipient :)

Please test ...
