Rosegarden's notation editor forgets to display some ties at seemingly
random times. When I play the score, it sounds right, i.e. there are no
repeated notes instead of sustained notes.
This caused me a great deal of head-scratching at one point, as the
patch I am using for orchestral strings has a distinct echo, which in
some cases just happened to be the same duration as the first note in a
tied pair. In this case, I thought Rosegarden was displaying the tied
notes, but was playing them as distinct notes. I was wrong about that,
though.
Unfortunately, I cannot find a simple way of reproducing the missing
ties problem.
