TikiFest Workspaces (and Social Networking) in Barcelona :: mission accomplished! TikiFest Orlando & London nextHi everyone!
TikiFest is closing up. In 10 minutes, we'll be heading off to the beach (!) for a TikiFest closing meeting. Many people are travelling early tomorrow morning and it's going to be a bit chaotic. Expect to get some more news/follow-ups over the next few weeks. About what happened? 1- Some of the stuff is here: http://tikiwiki.org/Tikifest+Workspaces+and+Social+Networking#Tasks_already_DONE_during_the_tikifest 2- A lot in SVN (both in trunk and experimental branches) 3- We recorded some things, but sadly streaming was not feasible because of limited upload bandwidth here. I don't know if/when/who will do editing and sharing. About the general Workspaces : mission accomplished. We overall reached our goals. We got further than planned on back-end things but less than planned on front-end. We are going to need a lot of help/patience/attention to refine/finalize/debug this vast undertaking from now to 4.0. 4.0 release will presumably be around this date: http://tikiwiki.org/TikiFestOrlando More precise 4.0 planning needs to be discussed. http://dev.tikiwiki.org/Lessons+from+3.0+release I welcome proposals. for 4.0 There will likely be a last minute TikiFest in London about August 15-16-17-18 (2-4 days during this period) http://tikiwiki.org/TikiFestLondonSummer2009 Thanks everyone!
