TikiFest starts today. Tiki4.0 for Friday (2009-11-13) Saturday & Sunday: planning/discussion days

Hi!

Here is schedule for the week:

I urge everyone to do the __absolute maximum__ you can this week.
Saturday & Sunday: please hop on to Big Blue Button audio-video
conference as we'll have discussions about Tiki5 and Tiki community
organization.

Let's remember that once 4.0 is released, the Quality Team kicks in.
And, once in this phase, a commit/fix "costs" triple or more in terms
of volunteer time. (3 of our most experienced developers review it,
plus the branching coordination).  This is very very effective in
making 4.1, 4.2,... more & more stable. But this also takes time away
from them building nice new things. Not to mention all the people that
will use Tiki 4.0, have bugs, report them, etc.

So please fix everything you possibly can before Friday!  :-)

Be very careful about regressions. We are running tw.o sites on
branches/4.x  If you introduce bugs, you can potentially block
everyone from working.

Hi!

We have progressed a lot, but still lots to do:

Tomorrow, we make three teams:
A- category permission solving
B- running release scripts to generate final tarball
C- general bug fixing

In about 12 hours, we should have released :-)
