we currently have 10 people using the server as a test.
We are having calendar Issues
Server: RHEL 5 u3 64bit
clients are mostly XP and Mostly using thunderbird's iCal Client
Mobile Phones using SyncML tend to give problems.
We are all in Auckland New Zealand ( 1 user has used the system from
Austrailia )
we are Right Beside the dateline if you look at a globe, there could be
some boundry issues in the code.
(NZDT is +13 hours of GMT ) Midnight London = 1 pm NZ the same
day.
server is set to local time not UTC ,
[root@webmail etc]# ls -l localtime
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 Aug 17 15:11 localtime ->
/usr/share/zoneinfo/NZ
php using to "Pacific/Auckland"

Default timezone
Pacific/Auckland
Client PC is set to Auckland Timezone (win XP)
Thunderbird's Lightning Plugin is set to "Auckland/Pacific"
The Plugin accesses events.ics
when I edit an Event it shows up as being UTC/GMT in thunderbird
changing this leads to the Meeting moving to the wrong time.
If I sync my Nokia Phone with the Calendar (rpc.php) , I get Duplicated
appointments and 1 reoccurring meeting I have at 11am on Fridays ,
Moves to 11 am Saturday.
also My Manager complains that if he silences an alarm on a reoccurring
event in Thunderbird the alarm does not occur the next time.
I am using the current RPMs from the opensuse link on the
egroupware.org website..
Any other information , just let me know.
TIA
