David Barr asked about this on another thread so I've changed the subject heading.

This is the Photoshelter blog posting about TinEye:

http://blog.photoshelter.com/corp/2009/09/photoshelter-and-tineye.html

Presumably images in Photoshelter galleries are already covered ( or in the process of being indexed by TinEye) but the checking hasn't as yet been automated.

The trouble with TinEye is that it only covers such a small amount of what is out there. It doesn't find pics that I know are there on websites.

I have found that Bing.com Images are good at finding infringements.
Their 'Find Similar Images' works well. Google now have the same
feature which should be called 'Find DIS-similar Images.'
