Tine, the vote and hopefully an agreementHi Lars and Connie,
I'm writing this mail on my personal account. I'm worried but also hopefull and maybe a little happy, because I feel we are in the construction fase of this endless discussion. I hope you have read between the lines of the admin statements that Ralf, Miles and I really tried everything to keep you both inside the project. We all have experience with escalations of these kind of discussions, and that is not serving anything. In my opinion no one really wants to do bad things to the project but there have been made some mistakes and clearly there is a lot of misunderstanding. Your question about the possibilty of restricting svn access shows to me that you are really looking just as hard as we do for a solution that we all can live with. We also suggested this option some days ago in an admin phone meeting. I hope this way we can still postpone the vote. I want to ask you one thing to also respect. It is really important for us that you only talk about Tine in the dev-list and not in all the other egw-lists untill we have a vote later in 2008. I can completely explain why, but I just want to ask you to respect this. Please lets continue coming together in this argument. Once the vote in 2008 is over, we can go the normal 'howto become a member plan' with the new developers. > I want to ask you one thing to also respect. I can > completely explain why, but I just want to ask you to respect this. > As we are really willing to stay in the project, we can respect this rule and will not talk about the Tine effort on the users lists like stated above, if you admins set an end to this bizzar voting situation. We just feel, that there should be a final statement on the users list to explain where to find definite infos about Tine, as (espechally on the german list) there is a lot of flaming with lots of wrong informations about us. cu Conny > Please lets continue coming together in this argument. > > Regards, > Pim > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > SF.Net email is sponsored by: > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services > for just about anything Open Source. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;164216239;13503038;w?http://sf.net/marketplace > _______________________________________________ > eGroupWare-core mailing list > eGroupWare-core@... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/egroupware-core > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by: Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
