Hi

here is a 4 min video about the main secrets of Steve Job's presentations. I found it useful to rethink my own next presentation.

Cheers

Nice. I see a lot of presentations at work and I think it's right - the best
ones have little text in the actual slides, mostly pictures or figures that the
person talks about. That way you concentrate on what they're saying and look
more at them rather than being distracted by reading a load of text.

The downside is that slides like that are rubbish for putting on the web for
people to read who weren't at the presentation because without you presenting
they're pretty hard to follow.

Slides with only a little text like that plus comments sections written out with what you're actually talking about over the slide are actually sort of the gold standard for 508 accessibility AND a well done presentation imho.  There is nothing worse than having to sit in a meeting and listen to someone reading slides verbatim.  Unfortunately it's a little more work to have to familiarize yourself more intimately with the content so that you don't have to rely on reading ;-)
