"It was educational, however, after defeating the first two creatures, I was unable to fight the third creature - for some reason, I could not get to/attack the very top creature. So, I closed out of the game, and tried to play again."
It happened to me, too! That's because the creature are too "high" on the screen 9same for your own creature, but at least you can still select it), so you can't move a creature there. But I won the game anyway, even if the opponent never showed up. You know this rule where, if no creature fighted for a bit, there is a fight that happens even thought no creature went on any creature's cas? Well, it happened to me! All of a sudden, a battle occured, without me being able to select my opponent's last creature, and managed to beat him up! :p The creature I used in this fight was far from my enemy, too. It was fun! Yet this is something they have to modify, 'cause I also lost a fight 'cause of that. He kept his creature "safe" in the back row, so I couldn't attack him! My plan was to keep my best attack cards, for my best creature, against his Lord Van Bloot, but couldn't do so... Well, I don't say I would have win if I managed to do that, but at least I could have tried my battle plan!

Not sure exactly what I'm replying to but you can move the screen by holding the right mouse button and then just move the mouse to move the screen. You can use the scroller (like Orca said) to zoom in and zoom out. You can click the button on the top of the screen to end you're turn. If anyone doesn't know some of the functions in the Chaotic Pad I'd be glad to help.
