So the Coquille tournament is this weekend. Everyone's spending lots of time at home running through their forms (I don't think it's possible to run it too many times), stretching, shadow boxing, etc... rrrriiiight?

I've discovered the hard way that there's not enough room in my house to do anything but the Never-ending form, and that only just.  I have to go outside.  Heh heh.  As for sparring, I practice on my sister.

Ric, you ARE gonna call me tomorrow, right?

I used to run my star form in my dad's living room. I would simply scoot back technique or so and be very careful to make sure I didn't kick the lamp off the end table when doing the jumping inside crescent. I even used to hang a ping-pong ball from the ceiling to provide a target for the spinning and jumping kicks. Where there's a will there's a way.

I find that doing the warm ups inside where its warm, THEN going outside and starting off with some light shadow boxing to get the heart rate really going is far more pleasant than training inside.  You can always throw on a couple sweaters and peel em off the hotter you get.
