Translation teams

Hi,

I have one question: Where happens translation of TYPO3's labels?

Who is the team, who to contact, how to help, ...?

Who does all the work to e.g. translate the new labels for 4.3?

There's a dead newsgroup typo3.translation.german only.
I found [1], but Changelog states last activity in february.

I'm sure, there are enough translators for German, so I think my help is  
not needed that much, but I have a few suggestions.

Look once more to the list of newsgroups :) You will find a newsgroup with all official information there. Make sure you read archives before you ask questions there. They all were answered before...
