Has anyone ever given a Scout access to TroopMaster?  We'd like to have
access for just a Scout enter attendance records for activities.  If you
give them a password with just activities checked, I know they cant update
any fields, but they will be able to see all the other information correct.
The manual is a bit vague but I think it is telling me that they will be
able to see everything but not be able to update anything other than what is
checked.

Regards,

Hi Matthew
You wrote"they will be able to see everything but not be able to update anything other than what is checked."

That is correct.  That is why we do not record SSN's in our database.

We have been letting the scribe enter attendance about 4 years now and have not had a problem.

The only problem is see is that they have access to physical info and if
there is something in there that only adults should see that may be an
issure?

Actually, with the proper DotNet access setup, certain users do not have access to Divers License or SSN data.  It will show up as '********' in place of the data.  The 'Other' text box on Personal #2 screen is also hidden.
