True Random Number Generator

Hello All,

I'm trying to generate true random numbers using 68HC12.

First Idea:-

I'm planning to use white noise generator(I'm posting the link as
well)to produce random sequences and get digital output using ADC. Is
their any better suggestion ?

Second Idea:-

It just an idea, It might sound kiddish to some professionals but I
can't resist myself to discuss. Can I use the crystal oscillator(CO) as
a source of noise, I mean the output of CO to schmitt trigger to make it
analog DC then to ADC. Will that work?
