Trust Megapixel USB2 Webcam Live WB-5600RDear all
I have a Trust Megapixel USB2 Webcam Live WB-5600R apple system info tells it is it this: USB 2.0 Camera: Version: 1.00 Bus Power (mA): 500 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Sonix Technology Co., Ltd. Product ID: 0x013e Vendor ID: 0x145f Macam doesnt see it, and so I'd like to help out getting the driver working. Where should I start. I will have a look in the source code, but I never helped develop a hardware driver before, so I might need a few pointers. interestingly , in windows this camera can do 1280x1024 (which is the true hardware resolution of the chip) however in MacOSX 10.5 it also works in skype and iChat... but only at VGA resolution. I am going to put this camera over the eye piece of a microscope for teaching purposes, and having the full resolution would be really nice! cheers, Dan Dr. Daniel James White BSc. (Hons.)
