I'm writing to let you know that I attempted to use maccam with the
Xirlink camera and it unfortunately did not work, but I am including
this info, in the hopes that it will be of use to you!
Manufacturer name: Xirlink
Camera name and model number: C-it Mobile XVP-710
Camera USB Vendor ID: 0x8080
Camera USB Product ID: 0x0545
I'm using maccam 0.9.1 on OS X (10.4.10)

Actually, if you have a camera, please let us know if it works or not,
by emailing the following list. Include camera specifics, the name,
model, vendor and product IDs (from the USB pane of the System
Profiler, choose "About This Mac" in the Apple menu and then click on
"More Info..."), which version of macam you have, and also the Mac OS
X version used.
