Two NYCFUG Meetings Happening Next Week!!!!

Just a reminder that there are two meetings happening next week, and we'd love you to come to at least one of them!

***Tuesday, September 13, 2005: Presentation by Greg Anthony, Apress Author, on his system of software development.

***Thursday, September 15, 2005: Studio 8 Unveiled in New York!

On September 13, Greg Anthony, Author of Iterating Infusion: Clearer Views of Objects, Classes, and Systems, will be speaking to our group about his system of software development. His one-of-a-kind book is not dependent on any single technology. It provides a way to integrate the most efficient techniques from a variety of programming methods, in a manner that makes designing and programming software look easy. Find out more at this meeting! Judith Dinowitz will also be giving a short entry-level presentation on CFSET, one of the building blocks of ColdFusion programming. If you know how to set your variables right, you're halfway there ...

Then, on September 15, at 6:30, Greg Rewis from Macromedia will do a special presentation for a joint meeting of the New York ColdFusion User Group, the New York Macromedia User Group (NYMMUG) and the Flashcoders-NY group on Studio 8. This latest version of Macromedia's suite of products includes Dreamweaver 8, Flash 8, Fireworks 8, Contribute 3 and Flashpaper 2, and it's gotten rave reviews in many publications. Come and see what all the fuss is about, and get an in-depth tour and demo of the new features in all of the products. And one lucky attendee will win a copy of Studio 8!
