just to inform Till and you that, if I'm right, there is a typo in the
documentation (page 28): it should be written
\pgfpagesuselayout{resize to}[a4paper,border shrink=5mm,landscape]
instead of:
\pgfpagesuselayout{resize}[a4paper,border shrink=5mm,landscape]
