UNICORE release feed

Hi all,

due to recent changes in the release system on sourceforge we have
decided to manually maintain our own RSS feed for new releases that
should appear on http://www.unicore.eu/ instead of using sourceforge's
auto-generated release feed. The main reason is that the auto-generated
feed contains a message for each file that is uploaded to sourceforge.
Since a single release often contains multiple files this gets too
confusing.

Abandoning the auto-generated feed implies that the UNICORE developers
now have to inform the administrators of the manual release feed
whenever they would like to announce a new release.

This can either be done by sending a mail to unicore-announce@...
describing the new release or by directly dropping a mail to the
administrators (unicore-web@...) at FZJ.

Please make use of one of these options in order to advertise your
release to the UNICORE community.

Best wishes,
Bastian
