Do you know what means an OPTION instead of GET or POST in firebug NET tab? The entry requesting the capabilities is different from others and uses OPTION instead... but I don’t know what it means... About my proxy.cgi it allows gea.atosorigin.es:8080 and also labs.metacarta.com so I discarded that problem... I tested the layercontainer.html example against <http://labs.metacarta.com/wms/vmap0> and the grid gets filled as expected. See the attached patch. Do you mean "OPTIONS" (with a trailing "S")? OPTIONS is another HTTP method, and I really don't understand why OPTIONS instead of GET would be used (doesn't make much sense to me). Are you using Ext 2 or Ext 3? Yes it is using OPTIONS method to request the capabilities instead of get or post and I don’t know why... I have been inspecting the geoserver logs and it says filtering request and no capabilities is dispatched. About ext2 or ext3 ... what is it?
