This is an invitation to UWA Play Test 2009, where you can try out the game prototypes built this semester by the project teams in CITS4242 Game Design and Multimedia.

What:    UWA Play Test 2009
When:   Thursday 29th October, 3pm - 4pm
Where:  Lab 2.03, UWA CS&SE

[ Lab 2.03 is on the second floor of the Computer Science building, see:
 http://web.csse.uwa.edu.au/people/campus_map ]

This event is open to anyone with an interest in games - you'll be able to see and play the game protoypes, as well as talk to the team members about how they built them.

Students considering taking the GDM unit in future are particularly encouraged to come along so that you can benefit from the experience of this years groups.

So, take a short break from exam preparation/project marking/etc and come and be impressed by how much the groups have achieved this semester.

This was way out of my way yesterday, but is there any way to see these
game prototypes, aside from heading out to UWA?

The games on show were a quite impressive usage of the NeoAxis game engine and Blender to develop small 3D games.
Hopefully you will be at Let's Make Games and the IGDA Perth Chapter's end of year "iParty 2.0" so others may have a chance to see what you've accomplished.
