Senior User Experience Analyst
· Understanding our clients’ business and brand strategies; commitment
to activating those strategies through innovative user experiences
· Understanding people’s wants, needs, expectations and current
behaviors / processes; developing personas / scenarios / stories as design
tools for the team
· Leading immersive user research, concept testing and usability testing;
demonstrated ability to apply guerilla user research and usability tactics to
solving design challenges
· Suggesting and prioritizing appropriate features, content and creative
concepts that marry people’s needs with brand and business objectives
· Conducting audits of existing experiences based on both functional and
emotional communication best practices; preparing reports of findings and
improvement recommendations
· Developing site maps that define page hierarchy, navigation schemas,
taxonomy and nomenclature
· Defining interaction diagrams and page-level wireframes that push
interaction boundaries
· Defining functionality and content management
· Collaborating closely with visual designers, copywriters, animators,
technologists and more
· Leading user experience discussions and reviews with clients
· Mentoring and delegating appropriately to more junior user experience
professionals
Qualifications / Requirements:
· 3-8 years experience applying iterative, user-centered research and
design principles to designing and developing digital solutions
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; graduate degree a plus
· Solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies
· Solid understanding of content strategy
· Excellent client service, presentation and team skills
· Adobe InDesign skills; Visio a plus
