Hi all,

Im quite new to webERP and am setting up a test system. I have run into a problem where after entering the required details to generate a quotation i get this in red:

Database SQL Failure : The SQL that failed was
SELECT * FROM taxauthrates WHERE dispatchtaxprovince=1 AND taxcatid=4 AND taxauthority=

I am unsure whats causing this problem, I think I should have setup the tax items/groups correctly. Hope anyone can help as i've tried searching the mailing list for clues as well as google.

Best regards,

Hi,

The tax system on webERP is very flexible, but this can mean that the
setup is not always easy. Check that you have tax authorities setup, I
think you have, and then select `Edit Rates` from that screen. Here is
where you put in those rates.

Have you read the manual on taxes?

Thanks
Tim
