Unable to contribute to Monodocs

When I attempt to register to contribute to Monodocs (by selecting the Contribute...) menu in the application, I get the following error after putting in my e-mail address:

Error: Monodoc encountered a failure when requesting a password for your
e-mail address. Try again later.

I've tried a few times over the last few days, and continue to get this error.

Is there an alternate procedure to get a password?
