Updated "QuickStart" page for Nuxeo DM 5.3Hi,
we've updated the QuickStart wiki page that gives people who have just downloaded Nuxeo DM additional instructions on how to set up and try the application on their computers (as opposed to the online trials that we are also providing): http://doc.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/QuickStart53 Your feedback on these explanations is welcome, as we're always trying to lower the bar for people who want to try out Nuxeo DM by themselves.. Actually there is one, except that I misspelled it "OpenDSK". But in reality, we don't run the tests systematically yet on OpenJDK, so community feedback would be useful here while we set up the tests. Re: Updated "QuickStart" page for Nuxeo DM 5.3Nuxeo 5.3 works well with recent versions of Sun SDK 1.6 >= 1.6.0_16 .
First versions of the Sun SDK 1.6 had bugs that crashes at jboss start. Open JDK might miss libraries for image manipulation (JAI). I think we might drop JAI in favor of ImageMagick in the future but this is not systematically the case for 5.3. -- Olivier _______________________________________________ ECM mailing list ECM@... http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/listinfo/ecm To unsubscribe, go to http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/options/ecm |
