Version 1.2 of the GENI Experiment Lifecycle document has been posted and is
available at
http://groups.geni.net/geni/wiki/ExperimentLifecycleDocument.
Also available at this location is a version of the document that shows
changes from Version 1.1.
This version of the document incorporates comments and suggestions made at
the document reviews held on April 17 and 21. Many thanks to those who
participated in the review: Jeff Chase, Rob Ricci, Jeannie Albrecht, David
Irwin, Varun Marupadi, Aaron Falk and Harry Mussman.
Many of the topics discussed at the document review fell in the space where
the experimenter control tools meet the control framework (user
authentication, experiments vs. slices, monitoring liveness of resources
associated with a slice/experiment, etc.). We'll hope to have more clarity
on these topics as the design of the control framework and the needs of
experimenter tools evolve.
